Team SPG Help
How Do I Use the Getting Started Videos in Team SPG?
Team SPG includes short walkthrough videos organized on a getting-started map that tracks what you've watched. The map opens automatically when you're new, and you can reopen it any time from the rocket chip in the header. Every video also lives in the Video Library at Help > Video Library, and many help articles include their video at the top.
The Getting Started Map
When you first join Team SPG, a map of short videos appears showing your path through the platform. Each stop is one video:
- Empty circle — not watched yet
- Ring filling in — partially watched
- Solid circle with a check — completed
Your overall progress shows at the top. The map only includes videos that matter for your role, so an owner and a technician see different paths.
Reopening the map
- Look for the rocket chip in the header (next to the help
?button) - Click it to reopen the map
- The chip shows your completion percentage
Dismissing the map
If you'd rather explore on your own, click "Don't show this automatically" at the bottom of the map. It stops auto-opening, but the rocket chip stays in your header so you can come back until you've finished the series.
The Video Library
The map is a curated starting path — the full library has every video:
- Go to Help in the header (the
?button), then Video Library, or visit/help/videosdirectly - Videos you've finished show a Watched badge
- Click any video to play it; your progress saves automatically
Videos on Help Pages
Help articles that have a matching video show it at the top of the page, so you can watch or read — whichever you prefer. Look for the player above the article text.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to watch the videos in order?
No. The map suggests an order that builds naturally, but every video stands on its own. Click any stop on the map or any video in the library to jump straight to it.
Why does my map look different from my coworker's?
The map is tailored to your role. Owners see setup and reporting videos, while technicians and CSRs see the videos for entering their numbers and using their dashboards.
What counts as "watched"?
A video is marked complete when you watch about 90% of it or reach the end. Progress saves as you go, so you can leave and pick up where you stopped — even on another device.
The map stopped appearing on its own. How do I get it back?
The map auto-opens for your first month. After that (or after you dismiss it), use the rocket chip in the header, or open Help > Video Library and click Getting started tour.
